Kimi has been running for the adidas TERREX Trailrunning Team for six years and is known for her focused “Game Face”—though photos prove that she’s more than capable of smiling. Beyond her impressive athletic achievements, she also has plenty to say (and write). Through her blog, social media, and magazine contributions, she shares insights on important topics in the running world and beyond.

Marcel Höche_Macy Pacy

Marcel Höche

ost people know Marcel by his Instagram handle, “Macy Pacy.” Originally from the Harz region, he now calls Innsbruck home—though in recent years, he has spent most of his time on the road with the adidas TERREX team. After several years focusing on marathon-distance trails, he is now shifting back to ultra-trail races.

Beyond his own performances, Marcel is also dedicated to growing the sport. He co-founded the German Skyrunning Federation and SUNN. Nutrition.

Franzi Reng

Originally from Regensburg, Franzi’s athletic roots are in track and field, where she celebrated her biggest successes in distances ranging from 10K to the marathon. In 2019, a gastrointestinal illness forced her to put her career on hold. However, in 2020, she discovered triathlon, and the balance of three disciplines helped her regain control of her health. Since 2021, she has been competing as a professional and, just two years later, earned her first Ironman podium.

Franzi is also a co-editor of the award-winning print magazine PODIUM.

Madlen Kappeler

Madlen Kappeler, a native of Oberallgäu, completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Exercise Physiology in the USA, where she studied for five years thanks to an athletics scholarship. She is now dedicated to the sport and is aiming for a professional career. Madlen is a versatile athlete who competes successfully in triathlon from the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga to middle distance races. She shows that you don't have to focus on one sport; no, in addition to triathlon, she also had some success in trail running/mountain running and skyrunning. Madlen is known for her determination and perseverance, and she never loses the smile on her face or her sense of fun - not even in competition.

Philipp Hofmann

Philipp starts in the Triathlon Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt and is currently working on his move to the professional camp. It won't be due to swimming, as he often comes out of the water as the overall leader. Philip is completely dedicated to sport - after studying sports, he added the B long-distance trainer license and works as a sports consultant for Eintracht Frankfurt cycling and triathlon.

Sven Koch

Sven “Twennysveni” Koch entered the trail running scene as a latecomer in 2019, but in just a few years, the Allgäu native has already earned some impressive results. Now based in Innsbruck, he thrives on mountain adventures while preparing for upcoming races. Having moved past shorter distances, he is now focusing more on races around the 50K mark.

Nora Havlínová

The Czech native started her sporting career in volleyball and only later took up running. She has lived in Vienna for over 7 years, where she mainly ran on the track and on the street. Since 2022 she has been looking for more variety and challenges on the trails. Nora has a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences and is therefore a particularly good fit for the Sporthunger team.

Alena Maria Pantis

The Frankfurt native has tried many sports, including horse riding and bowling. She eventually became a professional heptathlete and was scheduled to compete for the Greek national team at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. In sport, highs and lows are often close together and so a torn Achilles tendon stopped her Olympic dream. After many years of abstinence from sports, Alena found trail running and maintains a particularly interesting Instagram profile at run.silent__run.deep.

Thomas Wagner

Tom has been running trails and mountains for over 20 years and has been part of the Salomon Running Team Germany for 13 years. He thrives on long, technical races, with 100-milers being his favorite distance—though he's no stranger to both shorter and longer challenges. Thanks to his #5amclub morning runs, he balances his passion for running alongside family life (shoutout to Luisa & Silke!) and his academic work as a hydrogeologist at the University of Graz. For Tom, running isn’t just about training—it’s the perfect excuse to explore beautiful places and meet new people.

Ian Morgan

Living proof that it's never too late to make positive changes in your lifestyle. At the age of 39, Ian was not only overweight, but also under constant stress at work and, as he himself says, on the way to his first heart attack. Over the last few years he has made a radical shift from “Making Money” to “Making a Life”. He recorded this journey in his book “Lacing Up: The first steps of my running journey”.

Nick Emde Profi-Triathlet

Nick Emde

Nick Emde is a professional triathlete from Bonn specializing in middle-distance racing. Over the past few years, he has achieved strong placements at multiple Ironman 70.3 events, often narrowly missing the podium. In 2025, he faces a new challenge: his first full-distance Ironman, aiming to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii. His focus in middle-distance races remains on improving his performance and consistently competing for top positions, with the goal of reaching the podium—and perhaps even securing his first victory.
