Aerobee Energy Gel - Liquid
It doesn't get much more natural than that. Honey from Northern Germany, Baltic sea salt and a bit of fruit juice - Aerobee energy gels don't contain much more than that. A gel provides about 78 calories at 26 grams and with 100% natural ingredients. Vegetarian, gluten and lactose free. The new liquid variants are particularly liquid and therefore even easier to absorb. Now also available in the cheaper packs of 10.
Honey is a good supplier of energy during physical exertion and endurance sports because it contains both glucose and fructose. Glucose is quickly absorbed into the blood and is immediately available to the body as energy, whereas fructose is only available to the body as an energy supplier with a time lag and thus ensures a longer-term supply of energy.
In terms of taste, the Aerobee Gels are more on the sweet side and of course you should like honey. We particularly like the variant with passion fruit, as it tastes a bit fruitier. Be careful when opening - honey is known to be sticky.
Not recommended for pregnant women and small children. The "Peanut, Cocoa & Guarana" flavor contains 49 mg of caffeine per gel for an extra kick.
