Her energy bars are based on a 13th-century recipe: Panforte – a powerful mix of fruits, nuts, and spices that once fueled Roman legions on their long marches. She combined this traditional recipe with her extensive knowledge of nutrition and baked the first bars for her husband, Marc, who was looking for a natural, effective, and delicious product to support his long cycling tours after surgery.
